Three historic buildings are being purchased and preserved for the benefit of local college students and the overall community. Tom Hagen is making an effort to rescue homes in the area and ensure they are put to good use in the community.

The Carter-Shannon house will be used for student apartments. The Frederick Jarecki house will be the University's Alumni House and the Olds-Norman house will be a bed and breakfast style residence
